System Engineer Core Banking

As a System Engineer, you will take on a central role in the operation and further development of our banking solutions. You will ensure the reliable operation of business-critical systems, analyze technical requirements, and accompany demanding projects from conception to successful commissioning.

• Responsibility for the operation, further development, and optimization of a specialized area including associated interfaces and peripheral systems (e.g., Payments, Digital Banking, Accounting, or Compliance systems)
• Ensuring stable and secure system operation as well as monitoring and performance optimization of the application landscape
• Analysis and rectification of malfunctions as well as implementation of changes, releases, and technical improvements
• Recording and specification of technical and functional requirements until successful implementation in productive operation
• Cooperation with customers, internal departments, suppliers, and development partners
• Support with architecture and integration questions as well as with the continuous improvement of the system landscape

Your Skills

• Completed training in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
• Experience as a System Engineer, Application Engineer, Application Manager, or in a comparable technical function
• Knowledge in the operation and support of business or banking applications
• Experience with banking platforms such as Finnova or comparable core banking solutions is an advantage
• Understanding of interfaces, system integration, and complex application landscapes
• Analytical mindset as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Strong communication personality with enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing
