Your contribution

• Develop and manage test strategies, programs, and plans for complex specialist applications
• Plan, coordinate, and perform testing activities in all testing phases as well as provide support in decisions relating to quality and approval
• Implement and further develop automated test solutions and test frameworks, integrating them into modern development and deployment processes
• Analyze quality-related risks, apply risk-based testing procedures, and define indicative quality metrics
• Provide consultancy to business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding quality, testability, and quality engineering issues
• Constantly develop methods, processes, and standards in the field of test management and automation

What distinguishes you

• Higher education (SSS/SUP) or equivalent degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience in test management, quality engineering, or quality assurance of complex specialist applications
• Solid knowledge in test automation with Selenium and in modern development processes (CI/CD, Shift Left)
• Knowledge of established testing methods and, ideally, an advanced level ISTQB certification or an equivalent qualification
• Analytical thinking, propensity for interdisciplinary collaboration, and an autonomous and solution-oriented way of working
• Proficiency in at least two official languages and good knowledge of English

The fedpol Police and Identification Systems directorate ensures the secure operation and further development of essential police information systems and databases, serves as the national focal point for the exchange of police information, and provides forensic and identification services to national and foreign partner authorities. The Police Systems division ensures the secure and stable operation of the Swiss central police information systems. It further develops these systems according to agile methods, based on requirements, and ensures their availability, functionality, and efficiency for police activity.
