As part of a motivated team of surveying professionals, you will ensure the quality of the Official Surveying in the Canton of Bern and continuously develop it further. Take responsibility for exciting development projects and work closely with municipalities, updating offices, and the Confederation. Network with other official agencies and the private sector and actively shape the cooperation.

Your tasks

• Periodic auditing of the updating offices and further development of the ongoing quality assessment
• Accompanying the updating offices and municipalities in the demarcation of areas with permanent soil movements including long-term monitoring
• Participation in the transfer of the Official Surveying to the new data model DMAV
• Supporting the municipalities with the correct awarding of contracts
• Ensuring the maintenance and further development of the cantonal horizontal and vertical datum

Your profile

• Geomatics Engineer ETH/FH or equivalent training
• Several years of experience in official surveying as well as in GIS / Geoinformatics
• Interest in legal and administrative issues in the field of official surveying as well as in new technologies and developments in geomatics
• Excellent German skills (C2), good French skills (B1) desirable
