For our operational day-to-day business, we are looking for a down-to-earth and committed leader who rolls up their sleeves. You do not need to have C-level experience yet – if you have the necessary specialist and leadership experience and want to take the next step to actively help shape things, you are exactly right with us.

Your Role

As Head of Operations, you will dive deep into our core operational business. In the first 6 to 12 months, you will work intensively in all specialist areas to understand our business end-to-end. The goal is to appoint you as COO upon successful training and suitability and to include you in our management team in the medium to long term. On this path, you will manage the areas of Private Credit (PC), Real Estate (RE), and Business Credit (BC) while simultaneously keeping an eye on the investment side in the area of Investment Solutions (IS). You are not a leader from a bird's-eye view, but an approachable team player who holds the processes together and also rolls up their sleeves in daily business.

Your Tasks

• Operational and personnel leadership: You lead a team of a total of five employees in the areas of Private Credit (PC), Business Credit (BC), Real Estate (RE), and Investment Solutions (IS). You motivate your team at eye level, promote and challenge them in everyday life, and support them in their further development.
• Volume and delta management: You keep an eye on the investment and credit volumes, coordinate the requirements of both sides, and continuously optimize the resulting delta.
• Participation in the management team: You contribute operational insights to the management team and help develop pragmatic solutions for our processes and specialist areas.
• Connecting processes: You think in networks, recognize synergies between the credit and investor sides, and ensure that daily business runs smoothly.

What you bring with you

• Leadership experience: Ideally, you are between 27 and 35 years old and bring 2 to 4 years of experience in the personnel leadership of a small team, and you have a transparent, approachable, and human leadership style.
• Specialist knowledge: at least a Bachelor's in Business Administration or similar, sound practical knowledge, and a good understanding of the credit business (private credit, Real Estate/mortgages, business credit) as well as on the investor side (Investment Solutions).
• Hands-on mentality: You are interested in an SME environment with 18 employees, like to roll up your sleeves yourself, and think along – pragmatically and solution-oriented.
• Team spirit and communication: You are communicative, honest, and approachable. You see yourself as part of the team and not just as a superior.
• Languages: German at native speaker level and good English skills (any additional language is a nice plus).
