Test Engineer Product Safety

In this role, you will carry out product testing in the field of product safety and accompany certification processes for scales and laboratory equipment.

Tasks

• Communication with internal and external customers within the framework of product testing
• Independent execution of product testing in the field of product safety and creation of test reports
• Coordination of testing projects while adhering to schedule, cost, and quality targets
• Tracking of relevant standards and regulatory requirements, supporting approval bodies in certification processes
• Advising customers and internal contact persons on standards, testing methods, and solution approaches
• Maintenance, calibration, and further development of the testing equipment and software solutions used

Profile

• Technical basic training in the field of electronics or electrical engineering
• Further education at HF or FH level is an advantage
• Experience in product safety, standards, compliance, certification, or testing is an advantage
• Interest in technical and regulatory issues
• Confident communication in German and English, oral and written
• Independent, precise, and responsible way of working
