The Office for Correctional Services (AJUV) is responsible for the practical and administrative enforcement of sentences and measures. Would you like to contribute to public safety through the planning and design of resource- and risk-oriented sanction enforcement? For the Department of Sentence and Measure Enforcement, we are looking for a legal Case Manager Enforcement 2, 80% at the Solothurn location, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your responsibility

• As a legal Case Manager Enforcement 2, you plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor, specifically, enforcement in the offense area of serious sexual and violent delinquency (medium to very high recidivism risk).
• You develop and review the enforcement planning, ensuring the implementation of necessary risk assessments as well as the ongoing legal-prognostic evaluation of incoming information.
• You ensure the interdisciplinary professional exchange with enforcement institutions, probation services, therapists, and experts, lead enforcement meetings, and maintain telephone, written, and personal contact with convicted persons, legal representatives, authorities, and, if applicable, victims.
• You develop and are responsible for enforcement decisions (commencement of enforcement, enforcement relaxations, transfers) and implement them.
• Furthermore, you draft applications such as sanction changes, re-transfers, extension of measures, as well as statements (in appeal proceedings) for the court and represent the department in follow-up proceedings in court.

Your profile

• You have a university degree in law (possibly with a bar attorney patent) and a forensic additional qualification, or are willing to acquire one.
• Experience in correctional services or criminal law (enforcement authority, correctional institution, criminal prosecution, court, etc.) is an advantage.
• You shape the dynamic everyday enforcement life between reading and analyzing court files, enforcement reports, and expert opinions, as well as telephone consultations and visits to enforcement facilities, independently and flexibly thanks to your autonomous way of working.
• Your confident demeanor and high social competence benefit you both in direct contact with convicted persons and in interdisciplinary cooperation.
• You apply your reliable, precise, and expeditious way of working specifically when drafting enforcement orders, decrees, as well as submissions to the responsible court.
