Exciting tasks await:

• Technical and operational responsibility for central Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Teams telephony, OneDrive, Exchange Online as well as other M365 applications
• Evaluating, approving, and scheduling monthly Microsoft 365 changes including thorough impact analysis
• Creating concepts, decision bases and technical documentation as well as implementing optimized workflows to increase productivity and user experience
• Ensuring stable, service-oriented operation of the M365 services, resolving incidents, processing service requests and proactively informing and updating documentation
• Planning, testing and accompanying releases and rollouts in the Microsoft Cloud
• Ensuring best practices in the areas of security and compliance, analyzing optimization potential and contributing to the continuous improvement process in close cooperation with internal stakeholders as well as ensuring the deputy of our Microsoft 365 Data Security Engineer during absences

What you bring:

• Higher education in the IT field (Bachelor, HF, FH, federal diploma, etc.)
• Deep technical know-how in the M365 palette with focuses in one or more SaaS applications Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange Online or SharePoint as well as good knowledge in Microsoft Entra and Azure
• Solid knowledge in M365 security topics as well as in PowerShell
• Profound knowledge in ITIL (incident, problem, change, and request management); ITIL (V4) Foundation certification is a plus
• An inquisitive, communicative, open personality with a strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, a quick grasp and networked thinking

The Department of Finance and Resources (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dfr/ueber-uns/organisation/generalsekretariat) with around 650 employees is responsible as a cross-sectional department for ensuring that the resources necessary for fulfilling tasks are available to the canton.

IT solutions facilitate daily work and make it more efficient. To increase the efficiency of the cantonal administration, the employees of the Department of Informatik Aargau (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dfr/ueber-uns/organisation/informatik-aargau) contribute. They are responsible for the strategy and operation of the central IT. They accompany large-scale cantonal projects and ensure high-performance and modern IT solutions that enable the public to have uncomplicated contact and exchange with the administrative offices of the canton.
