Junior Tester 50% (m/w)

Tasks:

• Manual testing of IT applications and interfaces. Predominantly regression tests of functional and chain tests according to given test specifications, but also tests of changes & bugs
• Planning and execution of manual tests during release tests in consultation with the test manager and involving the affected specialists
• Manual test data creation
• Create, maintain, expand, and verify test cases
• Evaluate test cases regarding the test results together with the test manager
• Logging and classifying errors together with the specialists
• Test support for the specialists during error analysis
• Use of ticketing & test tools (Jira/XRAY)
• Collaboration in the documentation of specifications and training materials

Requirements:

• Approx. 6 months of proven experience in the field of ICT testing. This experience must not be more than 5 years old at the time of starting work.
• Experience in the field of software testing in general, ticket handling/testing with Jira/Xray and ALM or other tools
• Knowledge of software development, especially in the area of test automation, is an advantage
• Tertiary-level education (already completed or currently studying) or completed vocational training in the IT field
• Willingness to travel within the city of Bern & Switzerland
