What you can contribute

• Take responsibility for the evaluation and financing of remediation projects concerning fish migration in various cantons of French-speaking Switzerland
• Accompany and advise different cantons of French-speaking Switzerland (and other stakeholders involved) in the field of fish migration
• Act as a specialist and interlocutor regarding technical issues related to the remediation of obstacles to fish migration (e.g., dams,

outroitworks, locks, weirs)

• Lead the preparation and development of basic documents concerning the planning, application, and evaluation of measures relating to longitudinal connectivity and the remediation of hydroelectric works
• Ensure the coordination, at the federal level, of the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Doubs in the fields of hydraulic power remediation, fishing, and
• water protection

What makes you unique

• Higher education degree in aquatic ecology (biology, environmental science, or engineering) or a degree in hydraulic engineering with good knowledge in the fields of aquatic ecology and/or fishing
• Experience in aquatic ecology (planning, monitoring, or project implementation), ideally in the ecological remediation of hydraulic power
• Experience and interest regarding the research, development, and evaluation of remediation measures in the field of fish migration
• Experience in scientific environments, an administration, or a consulting firm as well as in project management
• Autonomous, goal-oriented, and solution-seeking working method, acute sense of communication, and team spirit
• Very good command of French and good active knowledge of German
