What you do * You are responsible for performance control in the motor vehicle sector: You develop and monitor KPIs, analyze deviations, and derive concrete measures for claim costs, efficiency, leakage, and customer satisfaction. * You independently analyze large datasets - from data preparation to interpretation - using SQL as well as Python or PySpark and continuously develop data-based analytical approaches. * You accompany the annual planning and control process for your line and track the implementation of the agreed operational and financial measures throughout the year. * You create meaningful reports for internal stakeholders and Group Claims, represent the underlying figures, and ensure the required governance. * You are a sparring partner for the line managers and work closely with claims processing, underwriting, actuarial, and analytics to effectively combine specialist areas, data, and control needs. What you bring * You have a university degree in economics, statistics, data science, (business) mathematics, or a comparable field. * You bring several years of experience in non-life insurance, ideally in a claims or performance environment, for example, in the areas of motor vehicles, property, or liability. * You work confidently with SQL and Python, ideally also with PySpark, and have experience with large datasets as well as reporting tools such as Power BI. * You can categorize complex analyses in an understandable way, formulate clear and actionable recommendations, and present them convincingly to executives. * You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented, and actively drive topics forward. * You communicate with style in German and English.
