It ensures that these installations are planned, constructed, and maintained safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. This includes high-voltage installations, low-voltage installations, and low-current installations. Furthermore, the ESTI is responsible for the market surveillance of electrical products due to a mandate from the Confederation.
