ICT System Engineer Senior (network and transport)

The contribution you can make

• Within a team, work according to the agile DevSecOps methodology and actively participate in ceremonies at the agile team and agile release train level
• Collaborate closely with the product owner to understand user requirements and develop complex solution proposals
• Define requirements for existing and future networks in terms of performance, availability, redundancy, Quality of Service, security, hardening and time synchronization
• Analyze malfunctions of large ICT platforms or applications and actively contribute to fault elimination (incl. on-call service)
• Maintain the technical documentation of the systems

What distinguishes you

• Higher professional education in computer science, network technology or telecommunications, as well as several years of experience as a Senior Network Architect or Network Engineer
• Experience in technical coordination and collaboration with various network operators, system managers and suppliers
• Excellent knowledge regarding IP and Layer 3 architectures, Routing, Segment Routing, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Quality of Service (QoS) and network segmentation
• Proven experience with highly available distributed network architectures, as well as with requirements relating to redundancy, security, hardening and lifecycle
• Solid experience in the technical evaluation of existing networks, as well as in the design and integration of network, transport and transition solutions
• Good active knowledge of a second official language
