Tasks ###

What tasks await you as a Senior Cost Manager (m/f/d)?

• Overall responsibility for construction cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting of demanding data center projects.
• Analysis of cost developments, risks, and opportunities, as well as the development of sound decision-making bases for project management.
• Management of tendering and award processes, including bid evaluation, contract negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Ensuring transparent cost controlling through the monitoring of budgets, commitments, changes, and forecasts.
• Commercial evaluation of extras and project changes as well as support for change management.
• Conducting cost, market, and benchmark analyses to identify optimization and saving potential.
• Further development of cost management standards, processes, and tools, as well as technical support and coordination within the project team.

Requirements ###

What do you bring as a Senior Cost Manager (m/f/d)?

• Completed studies in the field of civil engineering, industrial engineering, Quantity Surveying, project management, building services engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in cost management, calculation/construction cost planning, Quantity Surveying, or in construction management/project management.
• Sound knowledge in cost planning, forecasting, tendering, awards, and commercial contracting.
• Experience in change, claim, or contract management as well as in handling cost management and reporting tools.
• Ideally experience in complex construction, infrastructure, industrial, or data center projects.
• Strong analytical thinking skills, high affinity for numbers, and a strong awareness of costs and risks.
• Independent and structured way of working paired with convincing communication and negotiation skills.
• Very good German and English skills
