(Senior) Consultant Corporate Onboarding & Advisory (w/m/d) – Corporate Clients / Legal Entities

WHAT AWAITS YOU?
Corporate clients are strategically central for banks – and yet the opening of a business relationship with a legal entity is often still the slowest and most paper-intensive process in the house. Together with our customers – banks and financial institutions in Switzerland and the German-speaking region – You digitalize the onboarding of companies: from AG and GmbH via associations and foundations to shell companies and multi-level group structures. You combine regulatory know-how with advisory competence and technology and accompany our customers from conception through implementation to commissioning. As a sparring partner for the corporate client departments, You also further develop the advisory process for companies – so that an account opening becomes a long-term customer relationship.
YOUR EXCITING TASKS

• Responsibility for (sub-)projects related to the digital onboarding of corporate clients and leading project teams of internal bank and external experts
• Analysis and design of the end-to-end journey for legal entities – from the initial inquiry via identification, determination of controlling persons and beneficial owners to back-office control and opening in the core banking system
• Translation of regulatory requirements (GwG, GwV-FINMA, VSB 20, FATCA/CRS, Transparency Register) into lean, digital processes: commercial register connection, signing authorities, forms K, A, S and T, risk classification, PEP and sanctions screening
• Designing and moderating customer journey and process workshops with corporate client advisory, compliance, operations and IT
• Co-shaping the advisory process for corporate clients: needs assessment for SMEs and companies, advisory journey and cross-selling (payment transactions, e-banking, cards, financing, pension provision)
• Designing digital solutions based on our own solutions and those of our technology partners as well as creating requirements and specifications
• Accompanying testing, training and rollout – You enable corporate client advisors and back-office teams to apply the new processes securely
• Development of potential analyses and business cases (lead time, abandonment rate, effort per opening)
• Joint development of twentysecond through Your customer relationships and the expansion of our offering in corporate client business

WHAT DO YOU BRING WITH YOU?

• University degree (ETH, university or university of applied sciences), e.g., in business, law or business informatics – or banking training with corresponding further training
• Several years of experience in corporate client business, in corporate onboarding, in KYC/compliance or in account opening for legal entities – at a bank, a fiduciary or in consulting
• Sound knowledge of due diligence requirements for legal entities: commercial register, controlling persons and beneficial owners, signing authorities, shell companies, foundations and trusts
• Understanding of advisory and sales processes in corporate client business
• Project experience in business & IT projects, digitalization projects or process optimizations, ideally with agile methods
• High IT affinity; experience with CLM or onboarding platforms or core banking systems (e.g., Finnova, Avaloq) is an advantage
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as a confident appearance in workshops
• Languages: German and English required, French is an advantage
