Your role

As a financial accountant, you are the central contact person for accounting, payroll, and financial statements. In close cooperation with our CFO, you are responsible for the entire financial accounting, from day-to-day business to the annual financial statements, and ensure that our figures are reliable. At the same time, you actively help shape our financial processes and thus help to place our growth on a solid foundation.

What you move

• You manage the financial accounting of Solar21 AG and its subsidiary, including general ledger, inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounting
• You assist with accounts receivable management, dunning processes, and debt collection
• You prepare the quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the CFO
• You prepare the VAT returns including revenue reconciliations and the annual tax return
• You are responsible for the payroll accounting for over 20 employees, including social insurances (registrations/deregistrations, changes, salary reports) and reconciliation with the financial accounting.
• You are the contact person for the external audit
• You continuously optimize the financial processes in our ERP system Flectra in cooperation with our IT team

What you bring

• Several years of practical experience in financial accounting including payroll accounting
• Commercial basic training, further training in the field of accounting/controlling (e.g., federal diploma in finance and accounting) is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of ERP systems and proficient with MS Office. Experience with Odoo / Flectra is a plus
• Enjoyment of challenges and working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment with a highly motivated team
• Interconnected way of thinking, solution-oriented action, as well as an independent and structured way of working
• Very good German skills, French skills are an advantage
