Do you want to commit yourself to gender equality, at the crossroads of administration, the public sphere, and the political world? Your tasks

• Initiate, design, and lead projects aimed at promoting gender equality
• Shape and develop the projects "Entreprise Égalité" and

"Werkplatz Égalité"

• Support the Office in the implementation of its projects in the two linguistic regions of the Canton of Berne
• Processing of files originating from political circles, the administration, and the general public
• Participation in the work of different bodies and working groups

Your profile

• You hold a master's degree, preferably in human, social, or political sciences.
• You have several years of professional and project management experience.
• You have acquired proven specialized knowledge in matters of equality.
• You are bilingual (French-German or you have French as a mother tongue and possess excellent knowledge of German, C2 level).
• Ideally, you have already taken your first steps in the field of administration.

The Office for Gender Equality (BEFH), attached to the State Chancellery, promotes substantive equality in all areas of life and is committed to the elimination of gender-based discrimination. It supports the canton in the implementation of equality, initiates measures and projects, and provides advisory services to the population. The State Chancellery is a versatile service provider at the interface between politics, administration, and the public. As the staff of the Executive Council, it ensures liaison with the Grand Council. In this capacity, it plans, supports, and coordinates the activities of these authorities and provides many services to the administration and the population.
