The contribution you can make

• Assume specialist responsibility for the proxy and firewall infrastructure as well as ensuring its planning, evaluation, engineering, configuration, and operation
• Monitor the proxy and firewall infrastructure and ensure its availability
• Autonomously analyze technical problems, evaluate them globally, and develop durable solutions
• Develop system concepts and implement them in internal projects and projects related to infrastructure
• Ensure the operation, maintenance, and inter-system engineering of various hardware, operating system, and system platforms
• Provide second and third-level support and provide on-call service to ensure the operation of security-relevant systems also outside of working hours

What distinguishes you

• Specialist training in computer science, ideally with higher professional education in computer science or equivalent training
• Several years of experience with network infrastructures in data centers as well as with proxies and firewalls
• Solid and deep technical knowledge of various hardware platforms and various operating systems
• Knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python, as well as experience in the field of network monitoring with relevant certificate (Fortinet)
• Strong sense of responsibility, analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as willingness to transmit your knowledge, to follow continuous training courses, and to contribute within the team
• Good knowledge of an official language and English
