Nobody likes paying taxes. But with the revenue, we make our Canton Bern truly livable. Anyone who confuses "Steuerverwaltung" with mountains of paper and pencils is quite wrong. Your tasks

• Conduct written, telephone, or personal negotiations with taxpayers and representatives
• Advise customers by telephone or at the counter
• Carry out debt collection measures according to the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act supported by system tools
• Process and decide on requests for deferment, remission, and waiver
• Process payment transactions, as well as perform set-offs and write-offs

Your profile

• Completed training as Kauffrau/Kaufmann EFZ or equivalent training (knowledge of debt enforcement is an advantage)
• Enjoyment of independent work, as well as dealing with numbers and people in telephone, personal, and written customer contact
• Teamwork skills and openness to different conversation cultures
• Decision-making ability and negotiation skills
• French language skills are an advantage
• You show tact even in hectic situations and remain calm and objective
