Operation Engineer Storage & Virtualisation

Your area of responsibility

As an Operations Engineer with a focus on Storage & Virtualisation, you monitor storage, virtualisation, and backup environments in NOC operations, react to alerts and incidents, and coordinate directly with manufacturers if necessary. You analyse errors, perform root-cause analyses, process escalations according to ITIL processes, and drive efficiency in the engineering team through automation and scripting.

What you bring with you

You bring sound knowledge of NOC operations as well as storage and virtualisation technologies, particularly with SAN/NAS, VMware, or Proxmox. In addition, you work confidently with Windows and Linux, know Veeam, understand TCP/IP and VLANs, and possess completed further education in computer science at HF/FH/Uni level or an equivalent qualification. You are fluent in German and English.

Approx. CHF 115'000 to CHF 135'000
