Senior Project Engineer DCS Simulation & Modelling

You develop and implement customer-specific simulation environments for process control systems in the energy industry, including process and thermodynamic modeling.

Tasks

• Implementation of customer-specific simulation solutions for projects of medium to high complexity
• Close cooperation with customers for solution design and continuous improvement
• Support for project management in scope control as well as risk and opportunity assessment
• Technical solution development for new sales offers from concept to cost analysis
• Development and review of standard processes, tools, and techniques
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual requirements

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field
• At least 5 years of experience in the development and implementation of training and validation simulation environments
• Experience with process and thermodynamic modeling for combined cycle power plants or district heating networks
• Sound knowledge of a simulation environment technology comparable to 3KeyMaster
• Sound knowledge of large-scale technical process automation (Process Control System / DCS)
• Broad knowledge of current engineering practices as well as norms and standards of automation technology
• Business fluent German and English, both spoken and written
