Project Engineer Primary Technology

You will take over the technical project management of high-voltage switchgear and network installations and thus help shape secure power transmission in the Swiss high-voltage grid.

Tasks

• Responsibility for air-insulated and gas-insulated switchgear, switches, disconnectors, surge arresters, cables, and plant construction
• Detail engineering, specifications, and procurement of primary components
• Preparation of ESTI submissions including procedural support
• Technical project management of high-voltage switchgear and network installations
• Monitoring and controlling of quality, deadlines, and costs

Profile

• Completed studies ETH / FH / Hochschule in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge
• At least 3 years of planning experience of GIS and AIS systems in HV technology
• Several years of professional experience in the engineering of switchgear and substations
• Knowledge of operational requirements and legal regulations (ESTI & Starkstromverordnung)
• German language skills at least level B2
