Specialist Engineer Strategic Grid Development (all)

Your tasks

• Strategic and economic further development of the grid infrastructure across all grid levels (3 to 7) including the development of sustainable expansion concepts
• Execution of grid analyses and grid calculations with NEPLAN to ensure supply quality in the medium- and low-voltage grid
• Development of scenarios, target grids, and grid development strategies as a basis for long-term grid planning
• Responsibility for the short-, medium-, and long-term investment planning of the grid infrastructure
• Technical grid assessment of connection requests from new consumers and generation plants as well as technical advice for internal departments
• Further development of methods, processes, and tools in grid planning as well as the provision of engineering and project services for external clients

Your profile

• Completed studies in electrical or information technology (FH, ETH or comparable)
• Ideally further training in the field of business administration or interest in economic contexts
• Several years of professional experience in grid planning, grid development, or a comparable function
• Sound knowledge in grid planning and grid calculation
• Experience in using grid technical calculation and planning tools as well as ideally in programming with Python
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working combined with initiative and a sense of responsibility
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as the processing of complex technical issues
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills an advantage
