For 26 years, thanks to telemedicine, Medgate has been making doctors directly available to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A team of 300 motivated people – including more than 150 permanently employed doctors – actively participates in designing the medicine of tomorrow at Medgate Switzerland, using future-oriented digital health solutions.
At Medgate, the people treating patients remotely initially undergo intensive telemedicine training. The medical guidelines developed for the needs of telemedicine and continually improved over the years are practice-oriented and designed for remote treatment. The patient management system assists doctors in their treatment, notably through the use of artificial intelligence. Thus, doctors have less administrative work and can focus more specifically on patient care. The medicine of the future is already a reality at Medgate.

What we can offer you
You treat patients autonomously as a telemedicine doctor within the framework of Medgate Switzerland's 24/7 service. To do this, you communicate with patients mostly by telephone or by chat, in rare cases also by video call.
Our telemedicine guidelines support you in final therapy or triage - we handle 50 % of all final medical requests.
A level of activity adapted to your current stage of life, between 50 and 100 %.
A working week limited to 42 hours (for a 100% occupancy rate), which you can organize according to your work and leave wishes.
With us, there is no overtime. In case of additional need, colleagues who can organize themselves for additional shifts step forward.

You can work from home without complication and thus save unnecessary travel time in an already busy daily routine: Possibility to work from home from Germany and Switzerland. Offices available in Basel/Allschwil (CH) and Chiasso (CH).

Your profile
You are a doctor: you have completed your medical studies and obtained your medical degree as well as your specialist title in general internal medicine or you have at least 2 years of experience in general medicine.
You like evolving in a modern working environment: with us, hierarchies are flat and medical teams are self-managed.
You are passionate about digital and technology: with us, the computer is not just a simple work tool but a colleague that allows us to stay in contact with our patients and to simplify the sometimes tedious administrative work as much as possible.
You are strong in communication and listening: Telemedicine doctors see with their ears and get a precise idea of their interlocutor by asking targeted questions. For this, you must have very good knowledge of French and English, or French and German. Mastery of Italian is a plus.
You like structured and autonomous work: We have perfected telemedicine over the last 26 years and we will gladly show you how we achieve the best possible treatment through a structured procedure without having to study pre-established question catalogs or follow decision trees.
