For a company from the industrial sector, I am supporting the search for a committed personality as an HR Generalist / HR Generalist with Payroll knowledge 80-100%, starting immediately or by arrangement. The company offers a versatile working environment, short decision-making paths, and collegial cooperation in a small HR team of around three employees. As part of a succession arrangement, a versatile function awaits you with responsibility in personnel administration as well as in payroll processing for around 180 employees.

Your tasks at the new employer

• You are responsible for the monthly payroll processing including payment (four-eyes principle)
• You competently advise employees and managers on payroll, social insurance, and personnel administration topics
• Onboarding and offboarding, contract changes, mutations, as well as the creation of employment contracts, certificates, and confirmations are part of your area of responsibility
• You maintain the personnel master data and process absences, withholding taxes, and social insurance cases
• You actively participate in year-end work and reconciliations and optimize existing processes together with the HR team

You offer your new employer:

• You have a commercial basic education and further training in human resources (HR Assistant, federal HR specialist certificate, or training in payroll)
• Several years of experience of at least four years in personnel administration and payroll processing distinguishes you
• You bring sound knowledge of payroll, social insurance, withholding taxes, and Swiss labor law
• You communicate confidently in German, both written and spoken; knowledge of other national languages or foreign languages is an advantage
• You already have experience with Abacus, SAP, or SuccessFactors
