Our client, an international company with a strong presence in the raw materials and wood industry, is looking for a committed person to strengthen its finance team. To support the finance department, a motivated person is sought as an Accountant 80-100%. In this role, you will undertake varied tasks in financial accounting and actively participate in exciting financial and optimization projects. The position offers the opportunity to develop professionally and personally in an international environment and to take on responsibilities.

Your tasks at the new employer:

• Autonomous management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting, a responsible task with great autonomy and varied overviews of financial processes
• Responsibility for all payments as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets according to the CO, an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the financial stability of the company
• Preparation of provisions, accrued liabilities, and VAT returns as well as participation in budgeting and forecasting processes, a position that requires analytical thinking and precision
• Collaboration with HR, controlling, and auditing as well as support for internal control and audit processes, a varied interface function with development potential and influence on efficient processes

You offer your new employer:

• Solid training in finance and accounting with a completed or ongoing professional certificate, supplemented by at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience
• Experience in active participation in closings and audits as well as in-depth knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• You communicate with ease in German and possess good knowledge of English, knowledge of French is an additional asset
