Project Manager ERTMS

ETCS, ATO and digital information systems are changing how railways will be planned and operated in the future. At BLS, you will actively shape this development and contribute your knowledge where railway operations, infrastructure, vehicles and digitalization interact. Together with internal and external specialists, you will further develop projects, studies and solutions, thereby making an important contribution to the implementation of the BAV ERTMS strategy and the digitalization strategy of BLS Netz AG. ###

What awaits you:

• Implementation of the BAV ERTMS strategy and the digitalization strategy of BLS Netz AG
• Leading and further developing projects, studies and simulations regarding automation/ATO and train control/ETCS
• Driving forward topics in topology and data management as an important basis for the digital railway
• Networking and coordinating internal and external specialists and bringing together different requirements and interests
• Representing BLS in specialist committees and actively shaping cooperation with relevant stakeholders in railway infrastructure and railway operations

What you bring with you:

• Technical training at Bachelor or Master level or an equivalent qualification; business administration further training is an advantage
• Several years of project management experience in the railway sector
• Sound understanding of the interaction between railway operations, infrastructure, vehicles and digital information systems
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Analytical and networked thinking skills, strong communication skills as well as initiative and a desire to shape
