Research Engineer, Cybersecurity (Reinforcement Learning)

You develop and research reinforcement learning (RL) methods in the field of defensive cybersecurity for AI systems. The role combines research and software engineering.

Tasks

• Designing and implementing RL environments for security applications
• Conducting experiments and evaluations
• Incorporating work into productive training runs
• Developing agentic integrations for autonomous analysis and response
• Collaborating with researchers, engineers, and security specialists
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the team
• Participation in an on-call rotation possible

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Machine Learning
• Experience in cybersecurity research
• Strong software engineering skills
• Ability to combine research and technical implementation
• Experience with RL techniques and environments is an advantage
• Knowledge of LLM training methods is an advantage

Offer
