Project:
For our client in the insurance environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the functional analysis, quality assurance, and further development of data products and reports. In this role, you will analyze data using SQL, define functional requirements, and support the assurance of data quality as well as the maintenance of metadata. (Reference number: 925329JA)

Tasks:
? Collection, analysis, and definition of functional requirements for data products and reports
? Creation and maintenance of functional documentation, Q&A documents, and functional tools
? Analysis of data using SQL as well as identification of data correlations and anomalies
? Definition and further development of quality rules and quality metrics in cooperation with the Product Owner
? Maintenance of functional metadata as well as carrying out functional clarifications regarding data products, data replications, and Data Contracts
? Functional examination of data models and input of functional requirements along the data value chain
? Execution of analyses and Requirements Engineering as well as interface function between business departments, system architecture, and development teams; if required, assumption of Product Owner tasks in the SAFe environment

Requirements:
? At least 7 years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Steward, or in a comparable function
? Good understanding of insurance business domains, especially policy management and sales, as well as the associated processes, data flows, and data foundations
? Experience in the collection, analysis, and documentation of functional requirements as well as in Requirements Engineering
? Knowledge of data quality, Data Contracts, and metadata management
? Experience with Power BI as well as knowledge of SQL, Databricks, Oracle Database, and Azure SQL
? Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, as well as a high sense of quality awareness and responsibility for data
? Good communication and coordination skills as well as experience in working with business departments, IT, development, and enabling teams
? Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing for working with English-language documentation and cooperation with offshore teams
