We are the Claims Analytics Team in the Competence Center Data & AI at AXA Schweiz. Together with the business, we develop and operate data-driven solutions that create real value in claims processing.

In the area of Data, Technology & Innovation, around 600 software and system developers work throughout Switzerland and develop the technology of tomorrow in-house. In doing so, we also collaborate in global teams and networks.

We shape and integrate the latest tools, organize hackathons, and our agile product teams run self-organized and are independently responsible from A to Z.

What awaits you

• You take on co-responsibility for new and existing use cases in the area of classical ML and Causal ML - from problem analysis through modeling to productive operation
• You select and implement the right methodological approaches for complex analytical questions, together with other Data Scientists
• You analyze our claims data, identify patterns, train robust models, and build scalable ML applications in the cloud (GCP)
• You actively contribute your methodological and technical knowledge to the team, e.g., through code reviews, professional exchange on data science methods, and sharing best practices

What you bring with you

• You know the entire data science lifecycle - from problem definition through feature engineering and modeling to productive operation. You possess sound knowledge and have practical experience in classical ML and ideally in Causal ML
• You have good knowledge of Python, SQL, and Git. You can implement your models and analyses cleanly and reproducibly. Experience with GCP and MLOps is an advantage
• You can deeply immerse yourself in business problems and processes. Together with the team, you question assumptions, act proactively, and contribute your knowledge in a targeted manner to get better together
• You speak fluent German (at least B2) and English
