What you can contribute

• Collaborate on criminal proceedings of the military justice
• Contribute to the preparation and implementation of investigative measures; assist investigating judges in the preparation, conduct, and closure of proceedings
• Participate in hearings of witnesses, accused persons, and those called to provide information, and take part in interviews with their representatives, notably for the consultation of the file
• Assist the direction of the proceedings as well as the chief auditor during the preparation of decisions and elucidate questions of substantive or procedural law
• Support the management of the Office of the chief auditor (OAC) in the processing of projects

What makes you unique

• Bachelor or master in law (obtained at the latest at the beginning of the internship).
• Reliability and precision, eloquence, pleasure in collaborating with the different stakeholders
• Pragmatism, autonomy, sense of initiative
• Good active knowledge in a second official language

The Office of the chief auditor is a service provider of the military justice. It provides administrative and organizational support to the members of the military justice by helping them carry out their function in accordance with the law, in a competent and efficient manner. It furthermore creates the conditions so that the military criminal authorities and military courts of all instances can fulfill their legal mandate in full independence, without influence from politics, administration, or the army.
