Your contribution

• Assume the role of sparring partner for managers at home and abroad in all topics of HR management, including recruitment and development, case and conflict management
• Advise employees deployed worldwide on questions regarding career planning and accompany them through demanding personnel cases
• Plan and coordinate the international transfer process and advise consular employees
• Participate in strategic HR topics, including the development and implementation of concepts, fundamentals, and projects
• Ensure the administrative implementation of all personnel decisions, including labor law clarifications

What makes you unique

• Completed university degree or federally recognized HR specialist certificate
• Several years of HR experience along the entire employee life cycle; experience in an international environment is a plus
• Strong organizational talent, personal responsibility, flexibility, as well as service and team orientation
• Strong analytical skills as well as networked and solution-oriented thinking
• Very good knowledge of two official languages

The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (EDA) coordinates and shapes Swiss foreign policy on behalf of the Federal Council, protects the interests of the country, and promotes Swiss values.

The Directorate for Resources (DR) manages the use of personnel and finances to implement foreign policy objectives. It operates the worldwide Swiss representation network. The Directorate provides the services necessary for the operational management of the Department in the areas of logistics, telematics, management, and controlling instruments. The legislation, application of law, and legal advice of the Department also fall within the area of responsibility of the Directorate for Resources. Subordinate to it is also the Federal Travel Centre, which organizes and purchases international business trips.
