Ref 2585123 | Date: 13 Oct 2026 Institut Suisse de Police The Institut Suisse de Police (ISP) is the competence center for the basic and continuing training of Swiss police forces and guarantees the implementation of a training doctrine on a national level. In addition to offering courses for executives and specialists, it coordinates professional and higher professional examinations for police officers as well as the certification of public security assistants. Supported by the Confederation, the cantons and the municipalities, this private law foundation develops teaching tools intended for police training and promotes applied research on themes of interest to the police. In order to strengthen the financial management of our Institute, we are recruiting for the following position (start immediately or by arrangement): Head of Finance and Controlling (80--100 %) Your main missions * Lead the annual budgeting process with the various domains and services, and develop regular forecasts to anticipate trends and identify levers for improvement. * Develop and monitor financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPI). * Analyze variances between forecasts and actuals (revenues, costs, margins) and propose corrective measures. * Produce financial reporting intended for management and governance bodies. * Implement and evolve cost accounting. * Monitor and optimize service costs, identify paths for cost reduction and process improvement, and evaluate project profitability. * Support team leaders in managing their activity through targeted financial analyses. * Advise management and prepare solid decision-making bases. * Support the development of new business models for the Institute's products and services. * Guarantee the reliability of financial data, compliance with deadlines, the effectiveness of the internal control system (ICS) and compliance with legal standards. * Supervise the maintenance of general accounting, as well as closings and collaboration with the audit body. * Supervise, support and develop the accounting team, promoting autonomy, collaboration and the broadening of skills. * Manage the ERP (Abacus) with the integrator and advance the automation as well as the digitization of financial processes. * Contribute to cross-functional strategic projects. Your profile Possessing a strategic vision, you like to project yourself, build scenarios and anticipate developments, while remaining close to field realities. Comfortable with complexity, you have the talent to bring clarity to it. You know how to make numbers speak and explain them with pedagogy and pragmatism. Thanks to your proactivity and your natural orientation toward solutions, you willingly take initiatives to advance files. Finally, your leadership, both benevolent and demanding, allows you to unite your team as well as your interlocutors around common goals. * Higher education in finance, accounting or controlling (HES, federal diploma of specialist in finance and accounting, expert diploma in finance and controlling or training deemed equivalent). * Proven experience of at least five years in management controlling and cost accounting, ideally in a service organization. * Experience in management and team development or strong aptitude in this area. * Advanced knowledge of ERPs, in particular Abacus, and ease with digital tools * Mastery of French with excellent writing skills (knowledge of German is an asset). * Interest in professional or academic training, as well as in the security or police field.
