M&A Associate (m/f/d) – Focus on Buy & Build

To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an entrepreneurial personality per sofort who not only accompanies but drives transactions, as an M&A Associate (m/f/d) -- focus on Buy & Build with a workload from 40% (40--60% ideal, higher possible). Your impact with us: You work at the interface of M&A and Finance, with a direct line to the CFO and the management board. In doing so, you can expect the following tasks, among others: M&A processes * You help to identify and approach potential acquisition targets in Switzerland and the DACH region. * You work closely with external M&A advisors and our investor. * You support indicative offers and prepare decision bases. * You create Letters of Intent (LOI) and accompany negotiations in coordination with all involved parties. * You coordinate the M&A documentation (purchase agreement, due diligence documents etc.) with lawyers and advisors. Financial Integration & CFO Support * You support the financial integration of newly acquired companies. * You support the CFO in reporting, financial planning and the further development of the finance department. * You participate in strategic projects of the management board. What distinguishes you: You are a structured personality who brings entrepreneurial spirit and initiative, understands deals and takes responsibility. Additionally, you convince with: * A university degree in business administration, finance or similar. * 3--5 years of experience in M&A, Private Equity, Transaction Services or Corporate Development. * Verifiable deal experience: You have independently been responsible for or significantly contributed to transactions and know the processes and mechanisms of the M&A business very well. * Sound knowledge in company valuation, Financial Due Diligence and M&A processes. * Very good Excel and modeling skills. * Active use of AI tools to make M&A analyses, due diligence, documentation and reporting more efficient. * German at native level as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form. * Independent, structured and pragmatic way of working. * The targeted desire for a part-time position from 40% and the knowledge of how to focus on the essentials with a reduced workload.
