Your Field of Activity

• You develop and design our menswear collections in harmony with the CALIDA brand strategy and our unmistakable design signature
• You recognize current trends, consumer needs, and market potentials and translate these into creative, commercially relevant design concepts
• Together with the Head of Design, you develop trend themes, color concepts, stylings, and material concepts and visualize your ideas in inspiring mood boards
• You develop innovative print designs and create and maintain sketches and designs in our systems
• You accompany the entire product development process from the first draft to the salesman samples, ensuring high standards for appearance and fit
• You continuously develop and optimize our existing basics and bring fresh ideas into the collection
• You work closely with pattern making, technical development, material development, sourcing, as well as the design teams of other categories and ensure a uniform brand signature
• You coordinate collection development, keep an eye on timings and deadlines, and present your design concepts and collections convincingly

What is important to us

• You have a completed degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field as well as several years of professional experience in fashion design, including sound experience in the field of menswear
• You know the market and competitive environment, understand the positioning of CALIDA and the needs of our target groups, and recognize new potentials for collection development from this
• You have a pronounced sense for aesthetics, trends, colors, materials, and fits, as well as a confident sense of style
• You combine creativity with commercial thinking and a good understanding of market requirements and cost-conscious design
• You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner, and maintain an overview even with several parallel projects
• You are a true team player, communicate clearly, and appreciate cross-departmental cooperation
• You have very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
• You are proficient in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge in Tex Define, 3D design, and AI-supported design tools is a plus
