Social Worker

The Regionale Sozialdienst Untere Emme is responsible for statutory social assistance, child and adult protection, as well as alimony collection for the municipalities of Aefligen, Bätterkinden, Kernenried, Kirchberg, Lyssach, Rüdtligen-Alchenflüh, Rüti b. Lyssach, Utzenstorf, Wiler and Zielebach. The social service advises and supports the approximately 20-500 inhabitants with personal, financial and family problems.

What are your areas of responsibility?

You will work in Kirchberg in a polyvalent social service in the areas of social assistance as well as child and adult protection. You advise and support people in difficult life situations, clarify personal and economic circumstances, agree on individual goals and arrange support services. On behalf of the child and adult protection authority KESB, you carry out investigations and manage guardianship mandates.

There is also the possibility to specialize professionally or тематиically in social work, provided interest and suitability are present. Please indicate any preferences in your application.

What should you bring with you?

You bring a completed education at a University of Applied Sciences for Social Work as well as professional experience in the area of responsibility. You are used to maintaining diverse relationships and achieving demanding objectives cooperatively and in a resource-oriented manner. You are resilient, work in a solution-oriented way and have no trouble with administrative tasks. You appreciate a good working atmosphere in a collegial team and bring a positive basic attitude.
