An internationally active logistics company that connects people across borders is looking for reinforcement! As a maternity replacement, you will start from January for 4 to 6 months as an Accountant 80-100%. Your tasks at the new employer:

• Independent management of the general ledger including account reconciliations, accruals and deferrals and analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss items
• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR, on time and in high quality
• Preparation of audit documents as well as central contact person for the internal and external audit
• Ensuring, documenting and further developing the internal control system (IKS) in accounting
• Participation in the optimization of processes and workflows in accounting
• Daily work in SAP S/4HANA as well as support with system-related questions
• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and international contact persons, also in English

You offer your new employer:

• Completed further training as a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as a Senior Accountant, ideally in an internationally active company
• Sound experience in managing the general ledger and in the independent preparation of financial statements
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR
• Proficient use of SAP S/4HANA, a must for this assignment
• Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing (other languages welcome)
• Exact, independent and reliable way of working as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with a new environment
