Tasks ##

• You are responsible for the sovereign supervision as well as the technical support of the municipal landscape protection objects and work together with municipal and cantonal specialist departments
• You prepare expert reports and commission protection assessments for municipal landscape protection objects for the City Council.
• You lead, accompany, and coordinate projects for the preservation of municipal landscape protection areas
• You write statements on building applications and other projects that affect municipal landscape protection objects

Profile ##

• University or university of applied sciences degree preferably in geography, geology, biology, environmental science/engineering, landscape architecture, or comparable
• Several years of project management experience in a comparable position with an in-depth understanding of landscape aesthetic aspects, especially in settlement-proximate environments
• Knowledge of the legal bases of nature and landscape protection
• Independent, self-reliant, and resilient personality with networked thinking
• Proficient German skills in speaking and writing and conceptual skills
• Knowledge of public administration as well as handling Q-GIS is an advantage
