YOUR TASKS

• Functional and personnel leadership, development, and empowerment of a team of strategic buyers with responsibility for various medical specialist and product groups
• Overall responsibility for the strategic direction and further development of the procurement of medical products and pharmaceuticals, as well as for the definition and implementation of group-wide product groups, product, and supplier strategies
• Active management and standardization of the product and supplier portfolio with the aim of sustainably combining medical quality, security of supply, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory requirements
• Identification, evaluation, and consistent realization of cost-saving and value-creation potentials, as well as management of relevant procurement KPIs and strategic initiatives
• Leading complex contract, price, and condition negotiations with national and international industry partners, as well as building and managing strategically relevant supplier relationships
• Close cooperation with clinic managements, physicians, pharmacies, medical departments, Supply Chain, and other functions of the Corporate Office
• Leading cross-departmental projects, committees, and decision-making processes
• Ensuring legal and regulatory compliant procurement, taking into account Swiss medicinal product legislation, the Medical Devices Ordinance, and the relevant transparency, compliance, and governance requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies in a medical, economic, or comparable field, ideally supplemented by further training in procurement or Supply Chain Management
• Several years of sound experience in strategic procurement with demonstrable responsibility for complex product groups (ideally in healthcare as well as in the medical technology, medical products, or pharma environment)
• Several years of leadership experience and the ability to develop employees in a goal-oriented manner, delegate responsibility, and sustainably develop a high-performance team
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, entrepreneurial thinking, as well as a confident and binding appearance towards medical, commercial, and external stakeholders at various hierarchical levels
• High analytical and conceptual competence, strong affinity for numbers and data, as well as the ability to structure complex matters, prepare decisions, and consistently implement changes
• Very good German and English skills as well as confident handling of SAP, MS Office, and data-based management and reporting tools; French skills are an advantage
