As a Senior SAP Solution Architect, you play a key role in the continuous development of our SAP platform, which is essential for the company. You are responsible for the architecture of complex SAP solutions and actively participate in the strategic evolution of our SAP landscape. You work in close collaboration with the business departments, external implementation partners, as well as internal architecture and operations teams. As a Senior SAP Solution Architect, you also assume the technical leadership of demanding SAP projects.

You translate business requirements into viable solution architectures and accompany their implementation from the initial idea to successful production. You combine strategic thinking with technical execution competence. You collaborate closely with our business departments, SAP specialists, service owners, project managers, external implementation partners, operations, and Enterprise Architecture. You define the frameworks and guidelines for the creation of solution architectures and platform design in our Business Unit and work closely with other IT departments. Your enthusiasm is for the sustainable improvement of SAP operations. You excel in systemic analysis and design, leadership, platform architecture, and governance. You are responsible for solution architectures within the SAP landscape and ensure, together with Enterprise Architecture and the architects of adjacent platforms, their integration into the global IT architecture.

You assume the following tasks:

• Continuous development of the SAP platform architecture as well as participation in the design and implementation of the SAP strategy of Swissgrid
• Development of end-to-end solution architectures for SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud applications, and adjacent systems, including the design of integration with third-party systems
• Technical leadership of SAP projects and integration initiatives as well as responsibility for technical solution designs throughout the project lifecycle
• Participation in the technical implementation of complex projects through the creation of prototypes, integration concepts, technical specifications, and demanding implementations
• Advising and supporting service owners as well as business departments on complex technical and functional issues, particularly in the areas of Finance, Controlling, Purchasing, and Asset Management
• Continuous use and development of the SAP Business Technology Platform as well as identification and evaluation of new technological trends to support future business requirements
• Continuous development of SAP governance and ensuring compliance with architecture principles, standards, quality requirements, and data architecture guidelines in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent training
• Several years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect, SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP Technical Lead, or in a comparable role
• Deep knowledge in at least one of our key modules (FI/CO, SD, HR, MM, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of SAP architecture principles, integrations (e.g., REST, Business, OData), data models, and governance processes
• Experience in technical leadership of SAP projects and collaboration with external implementation and operations partners
• Excellent communication, moderation, and coordination skills, combined with a good sense of pragmatism
• Very good knowledge of German and English. Knowledge of French is an asset
