To strengthen our team in Basel, we are looking for a motivated and committed person as a Senior Jurist (70 % - 100 %) immediately or by arrangement.

Your professional daily life:

• With us, you don't just solve legal cases. You advise, negotiate, and ensure comprehensive legal protection for our clients with tailor-made strategies and creative solutions.
• You represent our private and corporate clientele with an optional focus in the areas of contract law or employment law, tenancy law, as well as land and neighborhood law (knowledge in other legal areas such as road traffic law or insurance law is an advantage).
• You are the central interlocutor for external lawyers and conduct negotiations with opposing parties as well as authorities.
• You draft briefs outside the monopoly of lawyers and assume responsibility for high-quality case processing.
• As a senior jurist, you support your colleagues on technical questions and promote internal knowledge development.
• In addition to case processing, you may assume additional responsibilities, for example in the active development of our services and processes, the management of our network of lawyers, the mentoring of interns, or in projects.

What you bring:

• You possess a Swiss university degree in law (MLaw or lic. iur.); a bar admission or experience in a legal protection insurance company is an advantage.
• You have several years of professional experience, ideally in a law firm or in an insurance company.
• Your clients' satisfaction is important to you and you know how to convey even complex issues in a comprehensible, pragmatic, and customer-oriented manner.
• With your pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, you develop solutions that are legally convincing and economically sensible.
• You are persuasive, flexible, and possess a sharp sense of negotiation.
• In stressful situations and demanding cases, you keep a cool head.
• You communicate confidently and appropriately to your audience in German. Other languages, notably Italian or French, are a plus.
• You naturally and profitably use modern technologies as well as AI tools in your professional daily life.
