The missions of the SPAJ consist of ensuring the prevention, promotion, and protection of youth and taking charge of adults in difficulty. The service develops and finances the outpatient care of children and guarantees the well-being of placed children while financially supporting extra-familial reception structures and specialized education institutions.

Your missions
As part of your function, you perform social work for youth protection in collaboration with families and institutions.
You carry out social investigations for civil, criminal, and administrative judicial authorities, assume civil and criminal guardianship mandates, respond to consultations, and take charge of voluntary mandates.

Your profile
Holder of a degree in social sciences or an equivalent title, issued by a HES or a recognized university, you have specific training in child protection (CAS) or are prepared to follow it while employed.
Your professional career demonstrates extensive experience in the care and support of children in difficulty and you possess good knowledge of the Neuchâtel social and judicial network.
You know how to manage stress in a demanding context and also work in a team and network.
Holder of a driver's license and a motor vehicle, you are willing to use it for service purposes.
