As Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Investor Relations (IR) Associate, you play a decisive role in the implementation of M&A transactions (divestitures and acquisitions) as well as in maintaining relationships with our investors, shareholders and equity research analysts. Your main task consists of creating accurate and timely analyses and reports for the Head of M&A and IR, the CFO and the CEO of the company. You keep yourself up to date on market trends, investor and corporate strategies as well as current share price developments.

Your main tasks ###

• Building a deepened understanding of the strategy, business model, equity story and financial results of Ypsomed
• Analysis of industry trends, market data and the business development of competitors
• Preparation of the communication of semi-annual and annual figures as well as other capital market-oriented materials and events (including logistics, flight and hotel bookings)
• Assistance in the timely, professional answering of inquiries from investors as well as sell-side equity research analysts
• Maintenance of investor and target company databases
• Analysis of teasers and information memorandums as well as creation of business cases, valuation analyses and transaction structures for M&A projects (DCF, market and transaction multiple analyses)
• Support of the finance and strategy team of Ypsomed such as Treasury, FP&A as well as Market Intelligence

Your profile ###

• Master's degree in finance, business administration or economics
• 2-4 years experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Equity Research or Investor Relations; experience in strategy and controlling/FP&A an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1) and German (C1), German preferably at native speaker level
• Very good analytical skills as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
• Experience in a pharma or MedTech company desirable
• Ability to work in a team and enjoyment of working in a dynamic, international environment
