Job Description

To strengthen our family-like team at KWS Suisse SA, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented personality as an Agrar Marketing Specialist (m/f/d).

In this versatile role, you will shape our marketing activities for customers, farmers and trade partners in Switzerland and operate within an exciting B2B and B2C environment. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing measures, customer events and variety demonstrations and contribute significantly to sales success through the establishment and maintenance of sustainable customer and partner relationships.

The position is permanent and includes a workload of 40-60 %. The future place of work is located in the Zurich region or in the Zürcher Oberland. Currently, our office is still centrally located in Basel, just a few walking minutes from the Basel SBB station.

Your tasks:

• Planning and implementation of marketing campaigns as well as management of social media activities
• Organization and implementation of customer events (e.g. T&T, AGRAMA) and customer harvest events
• Planning and accompanying internal and external variety demonstrations
• Cooperation with customers, trade partners and the field service
• Professional supervision of a marketing intern (female) or a marketing intern (male)
• Close coordination with internal interfaces, especially the team in Einbeck

Your profile

• Completed degree with a focus on marketing or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in a comparable marketing or communication function is an advantage; experience in the agricultural environment, an agricultural science education or an agricultural background are a plus
• High service and customer orientation as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Structured, independent and careful way of working with high quality awareness
• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to set priorities and coordinate several tasks in parallel
• High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality
• Business fluent German and French skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % within Switzerland and abroad; driving license category B is an advantage
• Flexibility and commitment during seasonal peak times, especially in the months of February and March
