WAREHOUSE AND PURCHASING SPECIALIST (M/F/D)
At our headquarters in Urdorf, we develop and produce next-generation technologies for the digitalization and automation of bioprocesses. In this versatile role, you will combine operational warehouse logistics with purchasing activities and make an important contribution to ensuring our supply chain.
YOUR TASKS

• Responsibility for an efficient flow of goods from goods receipt to shipping.
• Acceptance, inspection, and booking of incoming deliveries in the ERP system.
• Professional storage of materials as well as ensuring a structured warehouse organization.
• Picking, packaging, and preparation of national and international shipments.
• Creation of shipping documents and coordination with freight forwarding and logistics partners.
• Carrying out inventories, stock controls, and warehouse bookings to ensure high inventory accuracy.
• Triggering and tracking operational orders for production materials, consumables, and indirect materials.
• Monitoring delivery dates and active communication with suppliers regarding order confirmations and delivery status.
• Support in import/export processes and the associated documentation.
• Participation in the continuous improvement of warehouse, purchasing, and supply chain processes.
• Proactive communication of risks and opportunities to the Lead Manufacturing & Supply Chain.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse management, supply chain management, purchasing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in warehouse logistics, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in using ERP systems; knowledge of Odoo, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of warehouse processes, goods flows, and inventory management.
• Experience in operational purchasing as well as ideally basic knowledge of import and export processes.
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working.
• High degree of personal responsibility, reliability, and strong organizational talent.
• Team-oriented personality with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition for occasional warehouse activities.
• Very good German and English skills (at least B2, ideally C1).
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Switzerland. Please state your current work permit status.

WORK LOCATION
