For our client, an internationally networked service company, we are looking for an experienced personality with broad infrastructure knowledge. You combine Microsoft Cloud Services with a secure network environment and accompany technical improvements from conception to operation.

Your Task ##

• You develop technical solutions for new business requirements and implement infrastructure projects together with internal specialists and external partners
• You manage the Microsoft Cloud environment with Microsoft 365 and Azure as well as the connected Windows Servers and hybrid directory services
• You ensure reliable site networking and optimize switching, WLAN, VLANs and the segmentation of the network
• You are responsible for secure access through coordinated permissions, network access controls and firewall solutions
• You investigate security notifications and technical malfunctions, initiate suitable measures and support the Service Desk with complex cases
• You test new technologies, develop operating concepts and plan updates as well as the timely replacement of existing components
• You improve operating processes and further develop the system architecture with regard to availability, security and scalability

Your Profile ##

• Completed IT training or a comparable degree with several years of experience in system and network engineering
• Sound practice with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and hybrid Active Directory environments
• Experience in the construction and operation of corporate networks including switching, WLAN, firewalls and network segmentation
• Knowledge of network access controls as well as experience with Cisco, Aruba or Barracuda are an advantage
• Ability to recognize technical dependencies and translate requirements into well-thought-out, operable solutions
• Independent and reliable way of working with a strong sense of quality and enjoyment of exchange within the team
• Experience in providing technical guidance to project participants and purposefully involving external specialists
• Fluent German and English skills
