Data Lead Grid

You shape the data strategy in the grid area of an energy company and create the foundations for data-driven decisions and AI-supported automations.

Tasks

• Co-shaping and implementation of the data strategy of the Division Netze
• Responsibility for the grid data on the company-wide data platform
• Organization of the Data Community and building a data-driven organization
• Definition and monitoring of data quality rules as well as initiation of corrections
• Identification of use cases and analysis/visualization of asset, SCADA and project data
• Implementation of smaller data projects in cooperation with internal and external partners
• Support in the planning and installation of IoT sensors on plants

Profile

• Completed studies in the field of engineering sciences or comparable qualification
• Electrical engineering studies an advantage
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Data/Analytics
• Experience in project management and stakeholder management
• Very good programming skills, e.g. Python, PySpark, SQL, PowerBI
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form

Offer

• Workload 80–100%
• Up to 50% remote possible
• 3–6 months interim, then permanent employment
