Project Manager Caregivers

Job Description ##

The Pôle prévention et solidarités (PPS) of the Direction de l'insertion et des solidarités (DIRIS), attached to the Direction générale de la cohésion sociale (DGCS), is a dynamic and multidisciplinary pole active in home care arrangements, support for caregivers, or the fight against violence.
In order to strengthen its skills, the PPS is looking for a Project Manager to ensure the management and coordination of the cantonal program for supporting caregivers.

Responsibilities ##

• Lead the cantonal program for supporting caregivers and ensure the implementation of cantonal priorities aimed at strengthening the support and recognition of caregivers.
• Coordinate collaborations with the relevant stakeholders, ensure the follow-up of strategic and parliamentary files.
• Ensure the monitoring of delegated services for caregiver support and the development of new projects, mandates, or services.
• Develop steering and evaluation tools, and participate in the analysis of needs as well as the evolution of support services and measures.
• Represent the Direction within various platforms and specialized bodies, while ensuring monitoring of legislative developments, scientific progress, and innovative practices in the field.
• Ensure the coordination of communication actions, the awareness campaign, and the promotion of cantonal support services for caregivers with all stakeholders at the cantonal and intercantonal levels. Participate in or ensure the intercantonal coordination of annual communication actions and the caregivers' day (JPA).

Qualifications ##

• Master's degree or an equivalent title, required.
• Training in public administration or an equivalent title, desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management.
• Solid knowledge of the issues and developments concerning caregiving.
• Sense of responsibility and public service ethics.
• Ability for organization, time management, adaptation, and flexibility.
• Very good writing skills.
• Listening and communication.
• Good oral expression and a spirit of mutual aid and collaboration.
