Promoter of success conditions at a local scale and as close to the population as possible, the Service du Développement des Pratiques Professionnelles (SDPP) of AVASAD responds to challenges of quality, professional support, capacity development, and innovation in the field of home care, particularly regarding prevention and health promotion. This team of 30 employees is the guarantor of an evolving and equitable offer for the entire population of Vaud. To complete the team, we are looking for a :

Head of the early childhood and family unit (80%)

Missions and responsibilities :

• Manage the unit and coordinate the activity of the employees
• Develop and promote early childhood and family activities in connection with the strategic axes and objectives of AVASAD
• Guarantee the equity and quality of early childhood and family services throughout the canton
• Position the unit as a center of competence and professional reference for the "Develop research in social sciences and health sciences" mechanism
• Develop synergies with the other units/poles of the SDPP, with transversal services, with employees of the A/F and CMS
• Develop strong partnerships with other health and social institutions in the Canton, the Hautes Ecoles, the university, etc..

Your skills and experience :

We are looking for a female or male employee who ideally has proven experience in the field of "early childhood" such as pediatrics or neonatology as well as team management. The ideal candidate has experience in project management and possesses knowledge of the medico-social environment.

The function requires :

• A HES nursing degree or equivalent as well as a postgraduate degree in the field of health and early childhood
• A strong interest in teamwork
• Knowledge of public health, health promotion and prevention, in research and publication
• An attention to detail with an analytical capacity, while being solution, client and results oriented
• A sense of leadership and a capacity to innovate
• An open, communicative, collaborative personality with ease in internal and external contacts.
