The Finance department is looking for a committed individual as of 1 March 2027 or by arrangement to actively help shape our international financial processes and the Internal Control System (ICS). In this versatile role, you will work closely with the worldwide SRK delegations and make a direct contribution to impactful humanitarian projects.

What you can achieve

• Responsible for the design, establishment, and documentation of the ICS in the international SRK delegations, as well as for the establishment and further development of corresponding concepts and standards
• Advising and supporting the delegations in the establishment and further development of financial processes, ICS instruments, and risk-mitigating measures
• Training and technical support for the finance officers in the SRK financial processes and systems
• Participation in the DEZA Group Audit and the annual financial statements
• Responsible for the correct and timely processing of international financial processes from the recording of project accounts to financial reporting
• Continuous further development and digitalization of financial processes
• Taking over the technical deputy role of the Head of Accounting in their absence for matters related to international activities
• Occasional field visits abroad (by arrangement)

What you bring with you

• Completed education in business administration and/or accounting/fiduciary, qualification as an auditor is an advantage
• Several years of experience in accounting with ICS, ideally with a project or international focus
• Enjoyment of coordinating and advisory tasks in an intercultural environment
• High IT affinity (M365; MS-Office and Excel; Business Central is an advantage)
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working
• Very good German, English, and French skills and/or Spanish skills (C1/C2)
