DevSecOps ICT Junior Engineer

Your contribution

• Collaborate in the operation of ICT systems related to the use of server and network infrastructure, databases and specialist applications of the F-35A
• Process malfunction reports in first and second level support as well as the escalation of complex cases to specialists
• Perform recurring operational tasks, including backups, restores, installation of security updates and operational checks, according to defined criteria
• Monitor systems, identify anomalies and adopt the prescribed immediate measures
• Update operational documentation and maintain configuration and inventory data
• Gradually assume your tasks with the guidance of expert specialists and follow targeted training within the F-35 program

What distinguishes you

• Training in the field of computer science (AFC, SSS or bachelor) or equivalent experience in an ICT field
• Experience in the field of systems administration, for example in user and authorization management, handling malfunctions and installing updates
• Basic knowledge in the field of virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) as well as backup and restore procedures
• Basic knowledge in the field of network and database administration, combined with the motivation to develop further in a complex context
• Structured and accurate way of working as well as pleasure in collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
• Active knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of technical English for the international context of the F-35A

In summary

You will come into play exactly where computer science has a direct effect on the operational readiness of the Air Force, i.e., in the ICT systems of the F-35A program. You will work with expert specialists from the Cyber Command and the Air Force, gradually assume your tasks and acquire the necessary certifications for this field. You will acquire knowledge that only a few specialists in Switzerland possess and, with your work, you will contribute directly to the security of Switzerland.

CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications represent an advantage. Knowledge of the military context also constitutes a preferential title. To carry out assignments in different locations, a category B driver's license is required.
